Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Friday (and the Friday prayer) جمعة

Whoever sees in a dream that he is on a Friday [jum'a], God the Exalted will gather [yajma'u] his scattered affairs, turn him from hardship to ease, and blessing will return to him.

If he sees that the people are praying the Friday prayer in the congregational mosque while he is in his house or shop, hearing the sound of "God is greatest," the bowing, the prostration and the closing greeting, and he thinks the people have returned from the prayer: if he is the governor of that district, he will be dismissed.

If he sees that he is observing the prayer, he will obtain honor and might.

Whoever sees that it is Friday, it is a matter about which he thinks well, but it is not so.

If he sees that he is praying the Friday prayer, he will travel on an inaccessible [difficult] journey, seeking in it a surplus of wealth and provision that he will obtain if that prayer is completed. If he is connected to a ruler, he will be given an order for something, or a need will be requested of him and it will succeed.

Whoever sees that he is praying the Friday prayer, what he wants will be completed for him and he will attain what he hopes for. The Friday prayer in a dream is a sign of relief and happiness, attending festivals and seasons, and the Hajj; except that Friday is the Hajj of the poor, and [it may indicate] limiting oneself to part of the religion.

Whoever sees that he is on a Friday, or that he is praying the Friday prayer, it indicates near relief, meeting a loved one, and the fulfillment of a need he seeks.
