Whoever sees in a dream that he is praying over a funeral bier will take people as brothers for the sake of God Most High. It is also said that the funeral is a hypocrite at whose hand base people will perish.

(If he sees) that he is laid on the bier and no one is carrying him, he will be imprisoned. If he is carried on his bier, he will follow a person of authority, obtain money from him and benefit from him in some way. If he follows a funeral, he will follow a man of authority whose religion is corrupt.

(Whoever sees) that he is living on a bier, his wealth will increase.

(Whoever sees) that he was lifted up and placed on a bier and carried on men's shoulders will attain high rank and authority, will subdue people and ride on their necks, and his following in his authority will be in proportion to the number who followed the bier. If they weep over him and he sees his funeral, the outcome of his affair will be praiseworthy; if they do not weep over him and they speak ill of him, the outcome of his affair will not be praiseworthy. If they pray for good for him and praise him well, his outcome will be praised, whether he is a saint, a merchant, a leader or a craftsman.

(If he sees) that he is on a bier moving along the ground, he will board a ship.

(If he sees) a bier moving through the air, a leader or a scholar will die and his affair will be obscure to people, or a man of high standing will die far from home, or on the road of pilgrimage, or in holy war. If biers arrive at cemeteries, it is a right that reaches those to whom it is due.

(Whoever sees) that he carried a bier will obtain unlawful money.

(If a woman sees) that she died and was carried on a bier, she will marry; and if she is already married, her religion will become corrupt.

(If he sees) a funeral in a market, it means goods will sell briskly there. Being carried on top of the bier in a dream signifies a post in proportion to it, or a journey by sea or by land.

(Whoever sees) that he is escorting a funeral, it signifies seeing off a traveler, or someone striving for his own comfort through the one whom the dead person signifies. For whoever escorts a funeral gains one qirat of reward, and if he attends the burial he gains two qirats, and none but God Most High can reckon the measure and greatness of a qirat.
