Swimming سباحة

Whoever sees in a dream that he is swimming in the sea: if he is a scholar, he will attain what he needs of knowledge; if he swims and then returns to the shore, he seeks knowledge and then abandons it. It is also said that swimming is imprisonment: whoever sees that he is swimming on dry land will be imprisoned and suffer hardship in his prison, and he will remain in it in proportion to how hard or easy the swimming was and how close he was to the shore. If he sees that he is swimming steadily in a valley until he reaches a place he wants, he will enter the service of a tyrannical, oppressive ruler and ask him for something he needs; the ruler will grant it, he will gain influence with him, and God Most High will keep him safe in proportion to how he moved through the valley. If he is afraid, he will fear such a ruler; if he escapes, he will escape from him. If he enters the deep waters of the sea and swims well in them, he will enter a great affair or a great office, gain influence with the king, and attain honor and strength. If he swims on his back, he will repent and turn away from his disobedience. If he swims in the sea while its water is still, he will enter the service of a king, the work will become confused for him, and the king will become angry with him. If he crosses the sea, he will be saved. If he swims while afraid, he will suffer fear and imprisonment or illness, lasting in proportion to his distance from the shore. If he thinks he will not survive, he will die in that worry. If he is bold in his swimming, he will come through that service safely. If a ruler sees that he wants to swim in a sea tossed by its waves, he will confront one of the kings; if he crosses the sea by swimming, he will kill that king. Every sea or valley that has dried up is the end of the reign of whatever it is associated with; if he sees that the water has returned, it is the return of the reign of what it is associated with. If he sees that he is swimming in a river or a lake and is suffocating, and that he was lifted out of the river suffocating like a fish thrown onto land, then that person will meet hardship in water like what befalls a fish on dry land. For a person to see that he has escaped from the water by swimming before waking from his sleep is better for him than to wake while still swimming in the water.

Whoever sees that he is swimming will dispute with an opponent of his, defeat his opponent and triumph over him.

Whoever sees that he went into a sea by swimming until he could no longer be seen, that is his destruction and his end. If he sees that the water overwhelmed him until he died in it, or sees that he died in the water, he will die a martyr; it is also said that he will die with many sins. Walking on water in a sea or a river indicates the soundness of his religion and the firmness of his certainty; it is also said rather that he will become certain about a matter he doubts; and it is also said rather that he will travel on a dangerous journey, relying on God.

Whoever sees water flowing over his roof will be struck by an affliction from the ruler.
