In a dream it is a prison. It may signify a cradle for a child. The cage is a house: whoever sees that he bought a hen and a cage will buy a slave girl and settle her in a house.

Whoever sees that he put his head into a cage while walking through the markets will sell his house, and witnesses will testify against him. The cage signifies the complication of affairs and their entanglement with one another. The cage signifies marriage.
