Steelyard (balance) قبان

In a dream seeing it signifies a father or a husband who is deficient or excessive in his physical make-up. Seeing it may signify knowledge, guidance and following the truth. It may signify a judge with a chamberlain before him who conveys matters to him and from him. The steelyard is a great king: its pin is the mainstay of his kingdom and his life; its hook [called the 'scorpion'] is his confidant; the chain is his servants; the pan is his hearing with which he hears justice and injustice; and the counterpoise [called the 'pomegranate'] is his decisiveness with which he decides judgments, and his justice in his ruling.
