Rainbow قوس قزح

It is the bow of the clouds that appears in the sky. In a dream it signifies safety from fear. If one sees it red, it signifies a prevalence of bloodshed in that year, and there is fear for the dreamer of a wound. If one sees it yellow, it signifies illness. If one sees it green, it signifies safety from drought and from the oppression of rulers.

Whoever sees a rainbow will marry, because poets compare a woman to it. It is also said that if one sees the rainbow on the right, it is a sign of good; if one sees it on the left, it is a sign of fertility; and if one sees it on both right and left, it is for the poor a sign of fertility and for the rich a hardship that will pass, because it does not last and disappears quickly. The bow of the clouds in a dream signifies the appearance of a wondrous matter from the direction in which it appeared. It may signify a movement arising in the army and the display of banners of different colors. If there is thunder and lightning along with it, it is an enemy who appears and people make ready to meet him.
