Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Lying كذب

In a dream it signifies false testimony, fabrication and lack of success, because of His saying, the Exalted:

“Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allāh will not succeed."”

Quran 10:69 · Saheeh International

Lying may also signify prattling in speech and spreading it out from a [lively] mind and a sparking thought; if someone hears his words and passes them on, they will be passed on from him and become well known, and his mistakes will be more than what he gets right.

(Whoever sees) that he lies about God the Exalted, it is because he does not reason, because of His saying, the Exalted:

“Allāh has not appointed [such innovations as] baḥīrah or sā’ibah or waṣīlah or ḥām. But those who disbelieve invent falsehood about Allāh, and most of them do not reason.”
