Gathering (assembly, sitting) مجلس

Whoever sees in a dream that he has a preaching assembly in which he reminds people, while he is not fit for that, is in worry and illness and is praying to God for relief. If he speaks words of righteousness and wisdom and is sincere in his reminding, relief will come to him, he will recover from his illness and go from constriction to ease, or be freed from a debt he owes, or be given victory over a wrongdoer. The assembly that he sees in a place where the remembrance of God Most High is hoped for, such as reciting the Quran, supplication, or a poem on asceticism or worship, indicates the flourishing of that place with wisdom in proportion to the recitations and their correctness. If there is a solecism in the poem on asceticism, their governorship is incomplete; if the poem is a love poem, that governorship is false. An assembly in which reciters gather and recite, in a place where the men of state gather along with those who have name and renown in their craft and trade, such as governors, merchants and men of learning, [indicates] that they have no equal in their work, according to the quality of their recitation, the sweetness of their voices and how far their voices carry.

(Whoever sees) an assembly in which there is a group of scholars, and he is sitting at its head, and he is fit for it, it is knowledge for him and an increase in elevation.

(Whoever sees) an assembly in which a group has gathered for a court case or a marriage, it is a sign of a frightening matter whose outcome is good. If he sees a preaching assembly in which he is preaching, his command will be carried out if his sermon is completed; otherwise it will be difficult for him to accomplish his business. The sitting place [majlis] in a dream is the position in which he sits, the riding animal on which he sits, the vessel in which he sits and is sheltered by its timbers, the wife who enfolds him, the child he embraces, and his servant who knows his secrets; whatever spaciousness or narrowness occurs in it is to be attributed to what we have mentioned.

(Whoever sees) that he was invited to an unknown gathering in which there is much fruit and drink will be called to jihad and martyrdom in it.
