In a dream, for one who sees that he wore it, it is a large, collected, noble sum of money that he will obtain; and it may be an ingot of silver, because of the nobility of the sheep from which it comes and its many benefits to creation — for no kind of clothing is better than wool.
Whoever sees that he slept on wool will obtain great wealth by way of his wife, for his sleeping on it is like a bed, and a bed is a wife. Wool being burned is corruption of religion and loss of money. If a scholar sees that he is wearing woolen garments, he will live ascetically and call people to renounce this world and make them desire the work of the Hereafter.
Whoever sees that he wore a sheepskin with wool on it, with no other garment above or below it, will obtain money from a noble man. If he sees a dog wearing wool, a base man is growing rich on a noble man's money. If he sees a lion wearing wool, an oppressive ruler is stripping people of their wealth. Wool in a dream is purity [wordplay: suf (wool) / safa' (purity)], unless it is coarse and unsuited to its wearer, in which case it is poverty and humiliation.
