Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Falcon (saker) صقر

In a dream it is a male child, and a ruler of high standing, awe-inspiring, noble and unjust; its chick is a son of high standing. If he sees a falcon following him, a brave man has become angry with him. The falcon signifies an unjust man of strength and violence.

Whoever sees a falcon without contending with it will obtain spoils; likewise every animal used for hunting, because they were created for hunting and spoils.

Whoever sees that he obtained a falcon that hunts well, or that was obedient to him, will obtain authority and be unjust, oppressive and corrupt in religion in it.

Whoever sees that he obtained a falcon that neither hunts nor obeys will obtain a son, and that son will reach manhood. The falcon signifies honor, authority, victory over enemies, attaining hopes, the adornment of children, spouses, slaves, concubines and precious wealth, health, and the relief of worries and troubles. It may signify death, because it snatches souls. It signifies [beauty and] the hood [literally: confinement], being marked, and stinting in food and drink. The trained falcon, compared with the untrained one, is an eloquent person among people.
