Whale (large fish) حوت

Seeing it in a dream signifies an oath. Seeing it may signify the place of worship of the righteous and the mosque of devotees. Seeing it may signify worry and misery, loss of position, and the descent of wrath. Seeing the whale of Jonah, peace be upon him, in a dream is safety for the fearful, wealth for the poor, relief for one in hardship, and kingship for one fit for kingship; and likewise seeing the prison of Joseph, peace be upon him, the Cave and the Inscription [of the Companions of the Cave], and the oven of Noah, peace be upon him.
