Side-whiskers (cheek beard) عذار الخد

In a dream it is the presenting of an excuse ['udhr, wordplay on 'idhar = side-whiskers]. If someone among bearded men grows side-whiskers, it is feared there will be a chain around his neck. Side-whiskers may signify myrtle and sweet basil, just as myrtle and sweet basil signify them. Side-whiskers are a clear excuse, an increase in provision, the arrival of an absent person or a letter from him. If they adorn their owner, it is good news; if they disfigure him, it is an indication of worry and misery.
