Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Upper arm عضد

In a dream it is a brother, or a son who has come of age, or someone one relies on. If he sees a deficiency in it, it is a calamity in proportion to what befell it, through death or in life. If he sees an increase and soundness in it, that is in those mentioned. If he sees that his upper arm broke, it is the death of the dreamer, or a calamity of grief, hardship or affliction. The upper arm signifies whoever supports a person in his religion and worldly life and to whom he holds fast: a wife, a slave-girl or religion.

(Whoever sees) strength in his upper arm, that is strength in his brother or his wealth. Strength of the upper arm is an increase in skill at one's trade. Whoever sees an armlet on his arm, that signifies a craft that will secure him from poverty. It is also said the upper arm is a grown son who supports his father and brother in hardships.

(Whoever sees) that his upper arm is deficient will become of little intelligence and much vanity.
