Blindness عمى

In a dream it is misguidance in religion. It is also a large inheritance from one's paternal kin. Blindness is also wealth: whoever sees that he is blind will become rich.

(Whoever sees) that he is blind will forget the Quran. If he sees that someone blinded him, that person will lead him astray. If an unbeliever sees that someone blinded him, that person will turn him away from his opinion. A blind man is a poor man who does deeds that harm him in his religion because of his poverty. If an unbeliever sees that he is blind, sorrow and harm, or a fine, or worry will strike him. If he sees that he is blind and wrapped in new clothes, he will die.

(Whoever sees) that he is blind, a military campaign or a pilgrimage is due from him.

(Whoever sees) that he is blind, his renown will become obscure and he will not go back on his word. Its interpretation may be that he will obtain wisdom and knowledge, because of the story of Isaac and Jacob (peace be upon them both). If a blind man sees that he has turned his back to the qibla (direction of prayer), he is in misguidance.

(Whoever sees) that his eyes have become blind is a man who tears the veil between himself and God. Whoever's sight is blinded in a dream will become poor after wealth, or rich after poverty, or will lose someone dear to him, whether wealth, a child or family. The spring of his well may be blocked up, or he may lose his guard, or his spy may die, or he is one who denies what is right. If he is sick and is seen with his sight dazzled, it signifies his death. Blindness may signify deafness. For people of obedience, blindness may signify despising this world, looking at it with an eye of disparagement, his sight being blind to it. Blindness may signify keeping secrets. Blindness for a stranger (far from home) is a sign that he will not return to his homeland. Blindness for a prisoner is release, because people pity the blind and lead him by the hand wherever he wishes. For one seeking something he needs, it signifies that he will not attain it, because when the eye is blind it does not attain its aim.
