In a dream, if it is sweet, whoever eats it will attain the desires he wishes for; if it is sour, it is fear [khawf, a play on khawkh] for whoever eats it, and with each one fear will befall him. The peach tree is a rich, important man who spends on people, brave, steadfast in trial, who amasses much wealth in his youth and dies young. Peaches out of season are a severe illness.
Whoever sees that he picked peaches from a tree will obtain money from a sickly man. The peach and all things like it, except the mulberry, if a person sees any of them in season, signify pleasure and deception; out of season they signify toil and futility. The peach in a dream gives glad tidings of the return of good that was lost, and warns of the return of an evil that has passed. It is a fine, eminent brother and companion.
