Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Navel سرة

In a dream it signifies the dreamer's mother or father, or the earnings he used to live on, or the craft he used to practise. It may signify his wife or his slave-woman, or his sealed purse. If he sees in a dream that some evil mishap has befallen his navel, that will fall upon what was mentioned: father, mother, child or wealth. If the dreamer is sick and sees that his navel has opened, it signifies his death. If he opened it with his own hand, he will open his underground store, storehouse or purse in order to spend from it. The navel (surrah) may also signify joy (masarrah) and a secret (sirr).

Whoever sees that he has two navels will be granted two beautiful slave-girls. The navel is a man's wife, his favorite among his slave-women, and his aspiration; so whatever ugliness, beauty or bad condition he sees in his navel is their beauty, ugliness and bad condition. Whoever has two children and sees his navel ailing, that signifies them; and if he does not have two children, it signifies his homelands in which his children are.

Whoever sees pain in his navel will lose either his parents, his town, or the town of his forefathers. If he is living abroad, it signifies his return to his own town.
