In a dream it indicates the end of one's appointed term and the age (sinn) decreed for him. All the teeth signify children. Teeth may signify wealth, riding animals, hired workers, properties, landed estates, stored provisions, death and life, separation and union. Teeth signify deposits and secrets. The teeth are a person's household: the upper ones are the men on his father's side, and the lower ones are the women on his mother's side; the nearest of them to the front incisors are the closest in kinship. The two upper front incisors are the father and the paternal uncle — the right one the father and the left one the uncle; if he has no father or paternal uncle, then two sisters, or two children, or two sincere, caring friends. The upper lateral incisor is a man's cousin (paternal uncle's son), or two friends who take his place. The canine is the master of his household, on whom he relies and above whom there is no one, or a leading friend who takes his place. The "laughing teeth" (premolars) are the maternal uncles, or those who take their place in sincere counsel. The molars are grandfathers, and young sons of whom he is proud and in whom he finds comfort. The two lower front incisors are the mother and the paternal aunt — the right one the mother and the left one the aunt; if he has no mother or paternal aunt, then two sisters or two daughters, or whoever takes their place in tenderness and sincere counsel. The lower lateral incisor is the daughter of the paternal uncle or of the paternal aunt, or whoever takes their place in counsel. The lower canine is the master of his household and the one he relies on, or whoever takes his place. The lower laughing teeth are the daughter of his maternal aunt or of his maternal uncle, or whoever takes their place in counsel. The lower and upper molars are the more distant members of a man's household, and the grandmother, or young daughters of whom he is proud. If any one of these teeth moves, it is illness; if it falls out or is lost, it is the death of the one to whom it is attributed, or his absence from him in such a way that they will not see him afterwards. If he held on to it and did not bury it, he will gain in its place someone who will be to him like that relative to whom the tooth is attributed in interpretation; if he buried it, it is that relative's death. So it is with all the teeth, and likewise with all the limbs: their way is the way of the rest of the teeth. If he held on to it after a defect struck it, he will gain one like it among relatives or strangers; if it went missing from him, that relative will go missing through death or separation. If he sees some of his teeth decayed or worn away, the man who is its interpretation will be struck by an affliction, so that he will not be of benefit. If he sees that his front incisors are longer, more beautiful and whiter than they were, his father and his paternal uncle will gain strength and an increase in their wealth, their worldly life and their standing. If he sees that something like them grew, his household will increase; its interpretation may be a son or a brother. If he sees with them something harming them, there will be an increase in his household of something that is a disgrace or a burden on them both, and affliction and harm will reach them in proportion to how much harm and injury increased. If he sees that he is working at his teeth and pulling them out, he will spend his money unwillingly, or pay a fine, or cut off ties of kinship with the man to whom that tooth is attributed. If he sees tartar and blackness covering his teeth, it is a fault in his household because of something they do, which will blacken his face (disgrace him). If he sees a foul smell in his teeth, it is bad repute for his household. If his teeth are decayed, the state of his household will weaken. If he sees people eating him with their molars or biting him, he is able to put on a show for people but does not. If his teeth moved, it is the illness of his relatives.
(Whoever sees) that his teeth broke, one of his relatives or friends will die; it may signify an illness and death from that illness. It is also said that the mouth should be regarded as the residents of a house: whatever teeth are on the right side signify males, and those on the left signify females, among all people. The teeth of the right side signify the elderly among men and women, and those of the left side the young among them. The front teeth signify boys, the canines the middle-aged among them, and the grinding molars the elderly among them. If a person sees that some of these teeth fell out, that signifies the death of the one that tooth signifies. Teeth signify a person's affairs and his plans: the molars signify concealed, hidden matters; the canines what is not apparent to most people; and the front teeth signify open matters and what is done by word and speech. If he sees that his teeth broke apart, he will pay off his debt little by little. If he sees that some of his teeth grew long and became larger, that signifies tugging and quarreling that will occur in his home. Whoever has decayed, crooked teeth and sees them fall out will be saved from all hardships and evil. If he sees that his teeth are of gold, that is praiseworthy for people of eloquent speech, and for the rest of people a sign of a fire that will break out in their homes, or an illness from an excess of yellow bile called jaundice. If he sees that his teeth are of glass or wood, that signifies a death that will overpower him. If he sees them of silver, it is a sign of harm and loss to his wealth because of speech. If his front teeth fell out and others grew in their place, it is a sign of a change in all his plans in his affairs. If he sees that he is throwing out his teeth with his tongue, the well-ordered affairs of his household will be ruined by words he speaks. If he sees that his canine cracked, his son will die. Teeth signify the clan, near and distant relatives: those of them near the eyes are men, and those near the forehead are women. Whoever works at one of his teeth and pulls it out, or someone else pulls it out against his will, it signifies a fine on his wealth or the uprooting of some of his relatives. If he sees in the place of the extraction one or two worms or more, they are children that he will leave behind.
(Whoever sees) a foul, stinking smell from all his teeth or some of them, his reputation will become bad; it may signify a quarrel among his relatives or a disturbance in his household, and it may signify quarreling and words. If he sees that his teeth grew long and do not match one another, he will quarrel with his family and not be on good terms with them. If he sees that his teeth fell out, it signifies the cutting off of his bed (wife), or his poverty and the difficulty of his provision, or that he will die far from his family, or that his life will be extended, or that he will gain money equal to the blood-money for his teeth. If he sees that he pulled out all his teeth and buried them in the ground, his family will die before him and he will bury them. Pulling out teeth with the tongue is words he speaks by which the affairs of his household are ruined. It is also said that pulling them out signifies the appearance of hidden things.
(Whoever sees) that his teeth are loosening will pay off his debt little by little. Whoever sees the ridges of his teeth (worn down), his family will let him down when he needs them.
(Whoever sees) his teeth moved from their places and changed their positions, so that the upper became lower and the lower upper, it signifies the women of his household domineering over their men. Whoever sees that he picked his teeth, it signifies the scattering of his family and discord arising among them, or a decrease in his wealth. If he cleaned meat from between his teeth, he will backbite people and harm them with his tongue. It is also said that teeth signify a pearl necklace for women; they signify a millstone, and the ranks of an army: its right is the right wing, its left the left wing, and the front incisors the center.
(Ibn Sirin said), God Most High have mercy on him: pulling out a molar in a dream is cutting the kinship ties of a child; whoever pulls out a molar sins in cutting kinship ties. Teeth in one's pocket or palm are an increase in brothers and children.
(Whoever sees) that one of his teeth was pulled out without pain while he has a man in prison, that man will come out of prison. Dullness of a person's teeth signifies the weakness of his household. Cleaning tartar from the teeth signifies spending money to remove worries from them. An increase of the heart is an increase in its owner's intellect.
(Whoever sees) blackness, deficiency or breakage in his teeth, that is worry and sorrow concerning his relatives.
(Whoever sees) that they decayed and wore away, some of these (relatives) will be struck by affliction. Molars in a dream are the elders of his people or their best; the wisdom teeth are followers; the front and lateral incisors are the visible wealth or children by which one is adorned — their yellowness or blackness in a dream is a sign of a change in the state of what they signify, and pulling out their white ones is a sign of losing some family members or those we have mentioned. Pulling a tooth signifies the arrival of an absent person or the death of someone dear to him. If the king's teeth became iron or copper, it signifies the strength of his army and the might of his troops; if he lost his teeth in the dream, his kingdom will end. Teeth may signify the dreamer's long life, until none of his teeth can be seen. That may signify the cessation of his profit from plants or crops; he may become barren and not be granted a child, or become poor after wealth, or his income from his house, his animals or his mill may cease; if he stored something up for a time of profit, his condition will be ruined and he will suffer loss in it; or he may die and his provision be cut off. If he pulled out his teeth with his own hand, he will dispose of his wealth badly, or treat his family unkindly, or do something wrong and regret it, or make a profit from a debt he takes on whose burden will come back on him — this if it was visible to people in the dream. If someone pulled them out for him, it signifies his needing to pawn or sell what he adorns himself with, or what he cannot do without. Whoever pulls out in a dream a tooth that hurts him in waking life, it signifies his dealing with someone who harms him and that person's departure from him; it may signify worry and misery from a persistent creditor. The renewal of extracted teeth signifies compensations and profit after loss. If teeth of silver or gold come up in the place of his teeth, it may signify a calamity to his wealth, or that he will need to bind some of his teeth because of illness or an accident. Seeing an extra eye, nose, ear or tooth in a dream is a sign of losing that, or of its legal value (blood-money), for an addition indicates a deficiency, because of the words of God Most High:
“And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allāh has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers [i.e., the unjust].”
Quran 5:45 · Saheeh International
A tooth (sinn) may signify a year (sana): whoever sees that he has a "sinna" (a doze) with him is one who is overcome by forgetfulness, or he slept, or drowsiness came back to him; or he will welcome a blessed year, or follow a good practice (sunna) or hold fast to it.
