Falling (of the teeth) سقوط

[The falling of] a person's teeth in a dream is long life, longer than that of his peers in age. If he sees that all his teeth fell out and he took them in his sleeve or his lap, he will live a long life until his teeth fall out, and the number of his household will increase. If he sees that all his teeth fell out and disappeared from his sight, the people of his household will die before him; it may be the death of those of his age, or the illness of his household. If he sees that he lost one of his teeth, one member of his clan will go abroad, away from his kin; if he finds it after losing it, that person will return; otherwise he will not return.

(Whoever sees) that his upper teeth fell into his hand, it is wealth that will come to him; if they fell into his lap, it is a male child; and if they fell to the ground, it is the calamity of death.

(Whoever sees) that his lower teeth fell out will suffer pain, ache, worry and grief. For one who owes a debt, if his teeth fall out in a dream, it indicates that he will pay off his debt. If he sees that one of his teeth fell out, he will pay off one man's debt, or pay off all of it in a single payment. If his teeth fell out, he will pay off a number of his creditors, or pay one of them many things. If his teeth fell out without pain, it indicates deeds that will come to nothing; if he sees that they fall out with pain, it indicates the loss of something from his home. When the front teeth fall out, if it is with pain or with blood or flesh coming out, the matter he wants will come to nothing or be spoiled; and if they fall out without pain, what he owns will go. If all the teeth fall out, everyone in that home will perish. For companions, free men and travelers, this dream indicates a long illness without their dying; for slaves it indicates freedom; and for merchants and travelers it indicates the lightening of their load.

(Whoever sees) that his teeth are falling out and he is catching them in his hand, in his beard or in his lap, that indicates that his line of children will be cut off and no child will be born to him.

(It is also said: whoever sees) his teeth falling out, it indicates harm to some of his friends. If he sees that a front tooth fell into his hand, or he wrapped it in his garment, he will gain a son, a brother or a sister. If he sees that all his teeth fell out and ended up in his hand or with him, the offspring and number of that household will increase. The falling of a single tooth, if it happens without its being pulled, and he takes it in his hand or wraps it in his garment: if he has a pregnant woman, a child will come to him; otherwise he will reconcile with a brother or relative whom he had cut off. If there is blood, that is the sin of severing ties of kinship, unless he owes a debt, in which case he will be pressed for it and will struggle to pay it off. It is also said that the falling of teeth indicates an obstacle that hinders him from what he wants; and it is said it is a sign of paying off debts. If he takes the teeth that fell out, he may say something wrong, regret it and conceal it. The fine may be in proportion to the legal blood-money for a tooth. For people devoted to spiritual striving, losing the teeth may indicate persistent fasting.

(Whoever sees) his teeth fall out so that he is unable to eat will become poor. Whoever sees them fall into his palm without pain or pulling, they are dirhams equal to their number.

(Whoever sees) his teeth fall into his throat, and he takes them out tooth by tooth and puts each tooth back in its place, the stones of his well will fall in, and he will want to take them out stone by stone and put each stone back in its place. It is also said: whoever's teeth fall out has twenty-nine or thirty years of life remaining. It is also said: he will die within thirty days, or pay a fine of thirty dinars. It is also said: if he has a well, it will collapse. And it is also said: he will fall gravely ill, his wealth will be used up in the expense, and then he will gain other wealth.
