Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Jesus (the Prophet 'Isa)

Peace be upon him. Whoever sees him in a dream will be a blessed man, of much good, travelling much for the pleasure of God the Exalted, devout, content with little, and he will be granted knowledge of medicine.

(Whoever sees) Jesus, peace be upon him, no harm will befall him that year; and if he was studying medicine, he will succeed and become skilled in it.

(Whoever sees) Jesus, peace be upon him, will become an ascetic who wanders the earth, and he will be saved from what he fears and dreads. Whoever sees him often will be granted knowledge of medicine such that none in his time will be like him.

(Whoever sees) Jesus, peace be upon him, in a city or a congregational mosque, look at the people's condition: if they are in hardship or affliction, they will be saved from it, because he is the spirit of God and His mercy; if they are in safety and well-being, [hardship] will descend upon them. If his mother is with him, it is a great sign that will appear in that place.

(Whoever sees) that he was transformed into his form or wore one of his garments, look into his affairs and what befits him: if he is a sultan, his rule will become great; if he is a scholar or a worshipper, his benefit will increase and his virtues appear; if he is a physician, he will become famous and his success will increase. If he sees him while afraid, he will be safe. Seeing him signifies honour and blessing wherever he alights. If a sick person sees him, he will be saved and healed. If you see him while he is ill, that signifies death. Seeing him signifies the appearance of something people marvel at, and the coming of justice and prosperity. A pregnant woman who sees Jesus, peace be upon him, will give birth to a boy who will be a physician. Seeing Jesus, peace be upon him, signifies doubt in religion and disagreement, for the Jews said, "We killed him and crucified him," while He the Exalted said:

“And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allāh." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.”

Quran 4:157 · Saheeh International

“The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allāh"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allāh." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before [them]. May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded?”

Quran 9:30 · Saheeh International

And He the Exalted said:

“Allāh has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have [sought to] overcome others. Exalted is Allāh above what they describe [concerning Him].”

Quran 23:91 · Saheeh International

Seeing him may signify the appearance of people from his community. If the dreamer is a craftsman or one practising medicine, he will benefit from that, his affairs will be eased and he will profit in his craft. The dreamer may be accused of something of which he is innocent, and lies may be told about him or about his mother. Seeing him with his mother is a sign of the appearance of wonders. Seeing Jesus, peace be upon him, may signify good tidings, because he gave us the good tidings of the Prophet, God bless him and grant him peace. Seeing him may signify the answering of prayer. Seeing him may signify wrath and displeasure upon great people, because those who asked for the Table [spread with food] and then did not believe in it or in Jesus were transformed into swine, just as those of Moses' people, peace be upon him, who transgressed regarding the Sabbath were transformed into apes. It may signify an abundant share of companions or students.

(Whoever) among small children (sees) Jesus, peace be upon him, will live as an orphan, be raised in his mother's lap, and live as a righteous scholar. Seeing him signifies going back and forth from Egypt to Syria and from Syria to Egypt. If the dreamer was obscure at the beginning of his affairs, it signifies a good outcome for him, because he [Jesus] will descend from heaven at the end of time, kill the Antichrist (al-Dajjal) and fill the earth with justice and equity as it had been filled with injustice and tyranny. His descent, peace be upon him, in a dream at a place signifies the appearance of justice in that place, the coming of blessings, the destruction of the unbelievers and the victory of the believers.
