Gift (giving) عطاء

In a dream it is according to the one who gives. If someone gives little to one who deserves much, it signifies turning away from God the Exalted and from the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace be upon him. Whoever asks in a dream and is given nothing and becomes resentful, it signifies his opposition in religion or his following the way of those who spread discord.

(Whoever sees) that he is paying the dues of debtors from his own wealth: if he is sick, it signifies his death, the loss of his wealth and its squandering; and if he is healthy, it signifies his agitation and raising his voice. That is an indication of good for the poor only, and an indication of benefit for them. Everything a person sees that he took by order of the king signifies a benefit he will obtain from the king by his command.
