Gecko (sam abras) سام أبرص

It is a kind of lizard. In a dream it signifies an evil person who sows discord among people by tale-bearing and slander, causes enmity and hatred among them, teaches them evil and forbids them from good. The gecko signifies poverty, or sorrow, or a despised man, and it signifies harms that come from a people who do not usually live in cities. If a gecko enters upon a sick person, he will die, because its name contains "sam", which is death.
