Ewer (pitcher) إبريق

Seeing it in a dream indicates repentance for the sinner and a male child for a pregnant woman. It may indicate a servant boy who knows one's secrets. The plural, ewers, are righteous deeds that bring about entry into Paradise. The ewer may indicate a sword, because ibrīq is one of its names. If its value is high in the dream, it indicates the raised status of whoever it points to. The ewer indicates play, laughter and loud laughter; and the same ruling applies to similar vessels.
