Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Dinar (Gold Coin) دينار

In a dream it is pure, upright (hanif) religion, and knowledge. A single dinar is a child with a handsome face. Dinars are treasure, wisdom, governorship and the giving of testimony. Whoever sees that he made a dinar, his child will die, or he will abandon an obligatory prayer. Dinars and dirhams are God's seals and Iblis's arrow, and the scrambling of the children of Adam after them. Many dinars, if they come to you, are trusts and prayers.

(Whoever sees) that he is carrying loads of dinars to his house, it is wealth that will be carried to him. One who distributes dinars to people is making loans. If he sees a dinar in his hand, he entrusted someone with something and he brought it back. A counterfeit dinar is religion with breaches in it. Gilded dinars are little religion, lying and falsehood. Scattering dinars over a man is his hearing hateful and false speech. Dinars signify speech, and may signify worries and sorrows. Five dinars are the five prayers, so whoever loses a dinar has abandoned a prayer.

(Whoever sees) that he is swallowing a dinar is betraying his trust. It is related from Ibn Sirin (God Most High have mercy on him) that dinars are interpreted as a book, because writing is on both its faces. Dinars are nearness (dunuww) to good for people of stinginess. A dinar may signify a two-faced person, or a companion who does not stay with anyone. It may signify a beloved. It may signify support, help and joyful news. Dinars may signify knowledge and faith, or guidance and service with the sultan. Dinars of known number, such as a hundred and the like, signify knowledge and provision from manual work, especially if their number is even. It is said that if a person pays dinars to someone else or loses them, it is the going away of worry and misery from him. If he takes dinars in a dream, he will be entrusted with a trust. One to four of them is good. It is said they are speech coming from women, and a large number of them is wealth with quarreling.

(Whoever sees) that he obtained dinars of known number will suffer worry in that proportion; if they are unknown and he does not know their number, his worry will be more severe and stronger.

(Whoever sees) that a man gave him dinars, that man is wronged. If he paid them to another, or saw them with a man cut into pieces, there will be a severe dispute. If he found them thrown on the ground, it is fierce fighting and conflict between him and a man.

(Whoever sees) that he was given an engraved dinar, something he dislikes will come to him from his family or from someone whose affairs concern him.

(Whoever sees) that a dead person gave him dinars has been saved from injustice.

(Whoever sees) that the dead person wanted to give him something but he took nothing from him, let him beware lest he wrong someone or be wronged.
