House (Dwelling) دار

A house in a dream is a man's worldly life. Whoever sees that he has a new house, plastered with clay and complete with all its amenities: if he is poor, he will become rich; if he is worried, he will be relieved; if he is a craftsman, he will attain power in proportion to the house's beauty; and if he is in sin, he will repent. For the spaciousness of the house is his worldly life, his knowledge and his generosity, and its narrowness is his stinginess; its newness is the renewal of his deeds, its clay plaster is his religion, its solidity is his management of affairs, its repair is his joy, and its rooms are his women. A house made of iron is long life and lasting power for its owner. If he enters an unknown house and sees dead people in it, it is the abode of the Hereafter. If he sees that he entered it and could not get out, he will die. If it is plastered with clay, his state in the Hereafter will be good; if it is of gypsum and fired brick, his state there will be bad. If he enters it and comes out, he will come close to death through illness and then survive. If a house stands alone and he sees dead people in it, everyone in it will die. If he leaves his house in anger, he will be imprisoned. If he sees that a man entered his house, that man will get into his secrets; and if he is a wicked man, he will betray him with his wife or in his livelihood. For a just imam, the house is one of the frontier outposts of the Muslims; so whoever sees that his house collapsed, if it is the house of a just imam, it is a breach in one of the Muslims' frontiers. Building a house in an unknown or known place is a woman of high standing, if he is unmarried.

(Whoever sees) a house from afar, it is a distant worldly fortune that he will attain. If he enters it and it is built of clay and does not stand apart from the other rooms and houses, it is worldly gain he will acquire lawfully; if it is of gypsum, it is unlawful gain. If he sees himself leaving these buildings by force, or as a traveler, or moving away, it is his departure from his worldly fortune or from what he owns, according to what his leaving indicates. If he sees that he entered a newly built house: if he is rich, he will grow richer, and if he is poor, he will become rich — provided its owner or occupant is firmly settled in the house.

(Whoever sees) that he is in an old house of his and it collapsed on him will inherit a balance (likely meaning an inheritance) from a relative.

(Whoever sees) himself sitting on the roof of a house made of glass and then falling from it naked will marry a beautiful woman from the king's household, but she will die soon. It is also said: whoever builds a house, one of his relatives or one of his children will die; and whoever sells his house will divorce his wife. If he sees a beautiful house of his own, it is his righteous deeds; if it is narrow and ugly in construction, it signifies bad deeds. If he has been dismissed from office, the house is the return of his honor, or of a house he had lost or broken ties with. A house (dar) may signify humoring people (mudarat), and it may signify being turned about with the turning (dawaran) of time. Whoever builds a house in a dream with materials that are unfitting will put up a building from unlawful means. A man's house signifies his body, his soul and his very self, because it is known by him and he is known by it; it is his glory, his reputation, his name and the covering of his family. It may signify his garment, since he enters into it.

(Whoever sees) that he is sweeping his house will be struck by grief, or by sudden wealth. It is also said that sweeping the house is the departure of grief, and that demolishing the house is the death of its owner.

(Whoever sees) that he is demolishing a new house will be struck by worry and evil. Whoever builds a house or buys one will attain much good.

(Whoever sees) his house, or its rooms, its courtyard or its roof, grown wider than its known size, that is an expansion of his worldly fortune and a share of ease in his life.

(Whoever sees) some incident inside the house, or at the inner doors, it is an incident concerning the women.

(Whoever sees) that his house does not resemble these houses and its earth is exposed, that is what its owner possesses and will gain the upper hand over. If a sick person sees that he left his house silent, not speaking, he will die.
