In a dream it is a male child, if his cow gives birth to it or it is given to him as a gift; likewise every young one given to him or born of the offspring of livestock. A roasted calf is safety from fear, because of the story of Abraham, peace be upon him. A calf is a child receptive to good. Seeing it may signify worry, misery, sin and departure from obedience to God the Exalted. If a woman sees it adorned with gold ornaments or clothing, it signifies joy and happiness, and it may signify temptation [fitna]. A fat calf is good news of a male child and victory over enemies.

(Whoever sees) that he is eating the meat of a bull calf or a heifer will obtain wealth from a man or a woman.

(Whoever sees) that he carried a bull calf or heifer and brought it into his home will be struck by overwhelming worry.
