Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Anqa (mythical giant bird, phoenix) عنقاء

In a dream it is an eminent man, an innovator who does not keep company with the people of the faith. Whoever sees that the Anqa speaks to him will be granted wealth from the caliph; it is also said he will become a vizier. If he sees the Anqa throw something to him, he will be granted provision from God the Exalted at the hands of a king.

(Whoever sees) that he rode the Anqa will rise and overcome a king without equal. If he hunts it, he will scheme against such a man; if he sells it, he will wrong him; and if he catches it without a trick, it is a brave son.

(Whoever sees) that he obtained the Anqa will marry a beautiful, lovely woman. The Anqa is a beautiful, lovely woman, strange news and distant journeys, and it may signify babbling in speech, sound and unsound alike.
