Spider عنكبوت

In a dream it is a cursed woman who abandons her husband's bed.

(Whoever sees) a spider will see a scheming, weak, sluggish man. It is also said the spider is a weaver; and it is also said it is a devout, ascetic man: whoever obtains a spider will befriend a devout, ascetic man.

(Whoever sees) the spider's house and its web, it is weakness and frailty, because of His saying, Exalted is He:

مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ كَمَثَلِ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ ٱتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ ٱلْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ

“The example of those who take allies other than Allāh is like that of the spider who takes [i.e., constructs] a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.”

Quran 29:41 · Saheeh International

The spider indicates a woman who practices sorcery, and it may indicate knowledge of weaving and textile-making.

(Whoever sees) the spider falling from the ceilings, that is a sign of a severe winter.
