In a dream it is a man's wife or his daughter; its beauty is her beauty and its corruption her corruption.

If a man sees milk in his breast: if he is poor, he will become rich, live to an old age, and bear the expenses of two brothers; and if he is not married, it indicates that a child will be born to him. If a young woman sees that, it indicates that she will conceive, that her pregnancy will be completed and she will give birth to the fetus. If she is a previously married, rich woman, she will become poor and her wealth will be lost. If she is a virgin who has come of age, it indicates her wedding, since milk is not in the breast except after meeting a man. If she is a young girl far from the age of marriage, it indicates her death.

Whoever sees that he is suckling from a woman who knows him but whom he does not know, that indicates that he will fall ill with a long illness, unless he has a pregnant wife, in which case it indicates that he will have a child like what he saw and that the child will be raised. If a woman sees this dream, she will give birth to a daughter. If he sees as if his breasts have grown large while remaining well-proportioned and good-looking, they indicate children and things he owns; and if he sees them sagging, it is a sign of the death of his children.

Whoever sees that and has no children, it indicates his becoming poor; it also indicates sorrow, especially for women; and for nursing women it indicates calamities befalling the one she nurses. A large breast indicates the same as a breast that has grown large, and in a woman it indicates immorality.

Whoever sees as if his breasts are striking his chest: if he is advanced in age, it indicates that bad news will come to him from someone he knows; and if he is a young man or woman, it indicates passionate love.

The two breasts in a dream are daughters, so whatever happens to them, its interpretation concerns the daughters.

Whoever sees that another breast has grown alongside his two breasts, that is an additional daughter.

Whoever sees that he lost a breast, that is the death of his daughter. Milk in the breast is an increase in wealth and indicates a child. Whoever sees that there is milk in his breasts is on the verge of an increase in worldly goods flowing to him, or to someone he owns or is the guardian of; and likewise for women. If the milk that flows from him is suckled by a person, he will be imprisoned and the door locked on him, and there is no good in it for the one who suckles, for it is humiliation and sorrow for both. It is also said that if a man sees that there is milk in his breast: if he is unmarried, he will marry and have children; if he is poor, it indicates glad tidings; and if he is young, it indicates his long life. A young woman who sees that, it indicates her pregnancy and childbirth. A man's breasts lengthening until they strike his chest is a sign of passion not pleasing to God the Exalted; it is also said it is a sign of the death of children, and if he has no child it indicates poverty and sorrow. A woman's breast lengthening beyond the normal limit is a sign of extreme sorrow. A man's breast points to his prestige, his position, his health and his illness. A man's breast may indicate brothers, companions, children and spouses who are of no benefit though one is adorned by them, while a woman's breast is a sign of the opposite of that, because of the provision of God the Exalted in it. If he sees that his breast is like a woman's breast, with milk dripping from it, it indicates his providing for his dependents and his taking on what women must do in their toil. That may indicate a debt and bearing it, or he will have an illness about which he is ashamed before people; and if [people] see it, he will become notorious for that. If the breast became copper or iron, it indicates the loss of children and the stoppage of means [of livelihood] or of pregnancy. The breast on a full-bosomed woman is a husband. A full breast on a barren woman is a child after despairing of one. A full breast for a virgin may indicate what she adorns herself with of trousseau, clothing or wealth. A breast on a little boy or girl is ailments, illnesses and sores. The breast is buzz [teat], and bazz is goods of cloth; a single teat for an unmarried woman is marriage: if water or milk comes down from it, he will be a suitable match for her; otherwise she will lose her child or her sister. The breast has also been interpreted as some kind of ostrich [eggs] or citron. The two breasts may be two slaves; it is also said a father and a mother. The breast indicates a wineskin, if there is milk in it. It is also said that the breast is a generous man.
