In a dream, a woman, if she is beautiful, indicates the coming year bringing good and ease. A woman may also indicate a storage pit, a storehouse, a chest, and anything in which a person deposits his belongings. She may indicate the earth and the graveyard, because a person returns to it just as he came out of it. She may indicate prison, and a partner, because she shares with the man in pleasure and wealth. A woman may also indicate whatever is privy to secrets, such as bedding and clothing; the tree that bears fruit; the well into which a man lets down his rope; the sandal he treads in; the inkwell into which he puts his pen; and his mount and his seat.

Whoever sees a beautiful woman enter his house will attain joy and happiness. A beautiful woman is wealth that does not last, because beauty changes. If he sees a young woman turn her face toward him, affairs will turn toward him after having turned away. As for an unknown, young, adorned Arab woman of tawny complexion, the description of her good in interpretation is long. A plump woman is a fertile year, and a thin one is its drought year. The best women in interpretation are tawny Arab women, and unknown ones among them are better than known ones. If a woman sees a young woman in her dream, that woman is an enemy of hers, in whatever state she sees her. If she sees an old woman, she loses her good fortune and her efforts. The old woman is this world.

Whoever sees a beautiful woman while he is talking with her and laughing with her, or she comes in to him in his house, it is a fertile year: if he is poor, he will gain wealth; if he is imprisoned, he will be released. If the woman is covered and veiled, it is hidden good; if she has a tambourine with her, it is good that is well-known and open. An unknown woman is better than a known one.

Whoever sees a woman commanding people and forbidding them for the sake of God Most High, it is a righteous matter in religion.

Whoever sees a free Black woman, there is no good in her, unless she is a slave.

Whoever sees a number of women carrying weapons coming forward on riding animals, they are officials arriving in that town.

Whoever sees a woman as a follower, it is the loss of his authority and the scattering of his affairs, after which his state ends in prominence and well-being.

Whoever sees that his wife is being given as a bride to someone else, or sees her married to a husband other than him, will lose his religion, but his final outcome will be good. A woman is this world, pleasure and benefit. She may indicate the ruler, because she has power over a man. She may indicate land, a field, an orchard, and all kinds of mounts.
