In a dream it is scheming and deception. Whoever digs a tunnel for a person is plotting against him; and if the one who dug the tunnel goes into it, the plot will turn back on him.
Whoever sees that he entered a tunnel and could not see the sky, thieves will break in on him and steal his belongings; and if he is a traveler, he will be waylaid on the road. If he performs ablution for prayer in the tunnel, he will catch the one who stole his belongings, or be compensated for them soon and be gladdened, because ablution in interpretation is stronger than the tunnel; likewise if he bathes in it. If he is in debt, God the Exalted will settle it for him; if he is a sinner, God will accept his repentance; and if he is imprisoned, God will release him. If he sees that he drew out running or still water from what he dug, or what someone else dug for him, that is a livelihood gained through scheming, for the one who dug.
