Trumpet (of the Last Day) صور

The trumpet of Israfil, peace be upon him: its being blown is the salvation of the righteous, and the blowing of the Trumpet is a truth. In a dream it signifies alarming news. If he alone hears it, the news may concern him specifically; and if people hear it, it is news that people will be concerned with hearing. If he hears the blast of the Trumpet and believes that people heard it with him, plague will spread in that place, because the first blast is the death of the world. If he hears the second blast, it is for life: if he is ill, he will be cured; if there is plague in the town, it will leave its people; if they are suffering a drought, it will end, prices will fall and relief will come to them. Whoever hears the second blast, it signifies an abundant livelihood, the finding of hidden things or the revealing of secrets, the healing of the sick, or the release of the prisoner, or reunion with travelers.
