Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

The Bridge (Sirat, the bridge over Hell) صراط

The Bridge of the Hereafter: walking on it in a dream signifies a sea voyage; if he slips or it breaks under him, he will suffer loss and perish. The Bridge may signify knowledge, belief in the oneness of God, and following the Sunna, for whoever walks on it and remains safe. The Sirat is the path, so whoever sees that he slipped off the Sirat will miss the path of truth.

Whoever sees that he is on the Sirat is upright in religion.

Whoever sees that he walked on the Sirat and his foot did not slip will undertake a great matter and come through it safely, and be safe from what he feared.

Whoever sees that he stepped onto the Sirat and his foot slipped will fall into disobedience and turn away from the truth. Whoever crossed the Sirat while he was in the Hijaz will return safely.
