Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Sparks شرر

In a dream they are ugly words. Whoever sees sparks scattering over him will hear ugly words from a man in authority; and if they flare up, the talk will grow and increase.

Whoever sees smoke coming from the sparks, the matter is more serious; smoke is terror wherever it settles. If the sparks burn him slightly, his enemy will hurl evil words at him that burn him, but he will bear them patiently and the enemy will be humbled. A single spark is one evil word.

Whoever sees that sparks have increased upon him, it is a punishment that will befall him.

Whoever sees that a spark fell among a group of people, enmity and hatred will arise among them.

Whoever sees that the sparks consumed whatever they came upon, it is talk, evil, quarreling or war between people and harm to them. Sparks signify children. If they burn, or fall on the face, it is evil [wordplay: sharar (sparks) and sharr (evil)] and successive troubles. Sparks may signify evil deeds that make one deserve the Fire and its sparks; may God the Exalted protect us from it.
