In a dream he is the tutor of children, of free-born children as well as of slaves and slave girls, who trains them and teaches them a craft. If one sees that he goes to a roaster to buy well-cooked meat from him, then, if he has a son, he will hand him over to a tutor to teach him and discipline him.
Whoever sees that he bought roast meat for one daniq or two daniqs or a dirham [small coins], he will hire a servant boy or slave girl raised by a man of learning or a skilled merchant, and whatever he orders will be obeyed according to his wishes.
Whoever sees himself as a roaster will be appointed to an office collecting the ruler's revenue through injustice and confiscations. The roaster may also be interpreted as a surgeon who lances wounds. Seeing the roaster signifies the plundering of wealth, the taking of life and the taking of captives. Seeing him may also signify celebrations, the marriage of the unmarried and the birth of new children, especially if what is being roasted is a calf.
