In a dream it is a woman: if it is a Bactrian, she is a non-Arab; if otherwise, she is an Arab woman. Whoever milks a she-camel will marry a righteous woman; if he is married, he will be granted a male child. Whoever milks she-camels will take on a governorship in which he collects the alms-tax. The flesh of she-camels indicates fulfilling a vow, or a calamity, or illness, or provision. Whoever's she-camel dies, his wife will die, or his journey will be cancelled. The she-camel may be a quarrelsome woman, because of how much it bellows.
(Whoever sees) a she-camel enter a city, it is a trial, because of His saying, the Exalted:
إِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْ
“Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient.”
Quran 54:27 · Saheeh International
Whoever hamstrings a she-camel will regret something he did and suffer a calamity. If a she-camel is hamstrung in a city, a disaster will strike its people. Whoever owns a she-camel will marry, or become related by marriage, or own a house or land.
(Whoever sees) that he is milking it will obtain lawful money from a woman; if he milks something other than milk from it, such as blood or pus, that money is unlawful.
(Whoever sees) that he drank a she-camel's milk without milking it himself will obtain money from a great man of authority.
(Whoever sees) that a she-camel left him, was lost or was stolen will part from his wife. The she-camel is a righteous woman, patient with toil, bearing burdens, with nobility of rank and blessing. The she-camel may indicate the coming year: if its young is with it, it indicates the appearance of a sign and a general trial; if it is slaughtered, it indicates worries, troubles and death, or a sword that sweeps over most people. Whoever buys a she-camel while poor may buy a lamp, and he may attain rank and fortune in what is driven to him. The she-camel in a dream is a tree, a ship, a palm or one of the holdings of women's wealth. The riding camel, the howdah, the dome-tent and the litter are all women.
(Whoever sees) a she-camel giving milk abundantly in the congregational mosque, at a banquet spread, or in the open square, it is a fertile year.
