In a dream they are weak, greedy people. They are interpreted as soldiers, family and long life. Whoever sees ants enter a village, soldiers will enter it.
(Whoever sees) ants on his bed, his children will multiply; and whoever sees them leave his house, the number of his household will decrease. Whoever sees them flying from a place where there is a sick person, that person will die; or people will travel away from that place and meet hardship. They indicate plenty and provision, because ants are only found in a place where there is provision. If a sick person sees ants crawling on his body, he will die. It is also said:
(Whoever sees) ants coming out of their place and their nest will be struck by worry.
(Whoever sees) many ants in a house or a neighborhood, the number of the people of that place and their offspring will increase; whoever sees them leave his house or neighborhood, its people will decrease through death or moving away. Tiny ants are the same, except that they are the weak among people. When ants grow wings, it indicates the destruction of a large army of great numbers. Seeing ants indicates the dreamer himself, and indicates his relatives. Understanding the speech of ants is authority, because of the story of Solomon, peace be upon him.
(Whoever sees) ants entering his house with food, the good of his house will increase.
(Whoever sees) ants carrying food out of his house will become poor. Ants coming out of the nose, the ear or other parts of the body while he is happy about it indicates that the dreamer will die a martyr; and if he is sad, he will die without repentance. If he sees that the ants fled from a town or a house, thieves will carry something away from that place, or there will be construction there, because ants and construction do not go together. An abundance of ants in a town without harming anyone indicates the abundance of the town's population.
(Whoever sees) that he killed ants will commit a sin because of weak people. Whoever hears the speech of ants and is fit for command will attain command; otherwise he will obtain plenty and good. Large ants, for warriors, are their being killed; for the sick, their death; and for those who want to travel, their toil and loss.
(Whoever sees) a huge ant carrying a load out of his home and leaving with it, someone dear to him, his son or his brother, will steal his wealth.
