Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Seizing another person's property (usurpation)

[The headword reads ghaḍab "anger", evidently a misprint for ghaṣb "usurpation".] In a dream it signifies an invalid marriage contract for one who wants to marry, or unlawful wealth, or wealth whose origin is usury, and usury is falsehood. He the Exalted said:

“And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].”

Quran 2:188 · Saheeh International

Usurpation is a kind of falsehood.

(Film over the eyes:) Whoever sees in a dream that there is a white film over his eyes will be struck by great sorrow and will be patient, after the story of Jacob (peace be upon him) when his eyes turned white.
