Rat جرذ

It is the large mouse.

(Whoever sees) in a dream that he took a rat, or that a rat came in upon him, will move away from his country; and if he has real estate, he will sell it.

(Whoever sees) the rat in his house or someone else's house, let him guard that home against thieves, or let him beware of whoever is with him, for that person is taking some of his belongings.

(Whoever sees) that he is eating rat meat will backbite a sinful person. The rat indicates a thief who tunnels through walls. Seeing the rat indicates sinfulness, harm, gathering together, spouses and children. If it flees from him, it is a debtor whom he will catch. Seeing it indicates humiliation and loathing, and it may be a sweeper (latrine cleaner). Whoever eats its meat in a dream will obtain provision from unlawful sources.
