Meadow (garden) روض

Whoever sees in a dream green meadows whose substance he does not recognize, they are Islam and religion, and likewise all greenery on earth.

(Whoever sees) a meadow, it is harmed suddenly [the text here is unclear]. If he sees a dead person in a beautiful meadow, he is in Paradise. The meadow signifies this world and its adornment, and a wife with much wealth and a rich trousseau. An unknown meadow, whose adornment is only known in its presence, signifies Islam. It may also signify every excellent place and spot where God the Exalted is obeyed, such as the tomb of the Prophet (God bless him and grant him peace), circles of remembrance of God, gatherings of goodness, and the graves of righteous people. The meadow may also signify the Quran [the written copy, mushaf] and the books of people of knowledge and wisdom. It may signify Paradise, so whoever leaves it for salty, barren land or the like leaves the Sunna for innovation, or commits a sin.

(Whoever sees) himself in a meadow eating from it, and it is the season of Hajj, or he is giving the call to prayer in it, will perform the Hajj. If an unbeliever sees that, he will embrace Islam; or a sinner, he will repent. Otherwise, it is a good deed he will do, such as attending the Friday prayer or a funeral at which he prays.
