Killing قتل

In a dream it is a sin. Whoever sees that he is killing himself will repent with a sincere repentance.

(Whoever sees) that he killed a person will commit a great sin; just as, if he saw that he committed a great sin, he killed a person.

(Whoever sees) that he is being killed, his life will be long and he will obtain much good from the tribes.

(Whoever sees) that he killed a man without slaughtering him, the one killed will obtain good; slaughtering is injustice. If he sees that he killed a soul, he will be saved from grief, because of His saying, Exalted is He:

إِذْ تَمْشِىٓ أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن يَكْفُلُهُۥ ۖ فَرَجَعْنَـٰكَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّكَ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ ۚ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَـٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّـٰكَ فُتُونًا ۚ فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِىٓ أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٍ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ

“[And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses.”

Quran 20:40 · Saheeh International

(Whoever sees) that he is killing himself has seen good. When a slave sees that his master killed him, the master will free him.

(Whoever sees) that he was killed and does not know who killed him is a person who neglects the religious law; and if he knows who killed him, he will defeat his enemy and triumph over his killer.

(Whoever sees) that he killed a man and the man's jugular veins are flowing with blood, the one killed will suffer from the killer's tongue things he dislikes. It is also said: the one killed will obtain good from the killer. Whoever kills a soul deliberately and unjustly is a sinner. Whoever confesses to killing a soul will attain authority, because of His saying, Exalted is He:

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى قَتَلْتُ مِنْهُمْ نَفْسًا فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ

“He said, "My Lord, indeed I killed from among them someone, and I fear they will kill me.”

Quran 28:33 · Saheeh International

and he (Moses) attained authority after his confession.

(Whoever sees) that he was killed has denied a prayer or abandoned it.

(Whoever sees) that he killed his child will obtain provision.

(Whoever sees) that he killed two hundred souls, a debt of two hundred dirhams will be paid off for him and a worry removed from him.

(Whoever sees) that he was killed in the path of God, it indicates profit and trade and the fulfillment of a promise. The dreamer may die of plague, buried under rubble, drowned or of a disease of the belly (deaths counted as martyrdom). If the one killed wants to testify before a judge, his testimony will be accepted; and he may obtain a long worldly life and evident blessings.
