Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Job (Ayyub), peace be upon him أيوب عليه السلام

Seeing him indicates affliction and the loss of family, wealth and spouses, followed by patience through all of that. Seeing him may indicate wealth or a child that has passed out of his hands. The dreamer may fall into an oath for which he needs a jurist. If he is ill, he will be cured of his illness and his sickness will leave him. He may attain what he hopes for, such as the answering of a prayer or the granting of a need. Whoever wears his garment in a dream will be struck by affliction, misery, separation from loved ones and much illness, then all of that will pass away and he will be praised by great men. It is also said that his dream indicates affliction, loneliness, and glad tidings of might and reward. If a woman sees the wife of Job, peace be upon him, in her dream, it indicates her wealth being taken from her and her circumstances being exposed, and that her outcome will be good and safe. If a sick person sees her, he will die and be among those shown mercy by God, or God the Exalted will have mercy on him and remove his harm, because her name is Rahma ("Mercy").
