Illness مرض

In a dream it is hypocrisy, because of His saying, Exalted is He:

فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ

“In their hearts is disease, so Allāh has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.”

Quran 2:10 · Saheeh International

(Whoever sees) that he is ill, his religion will diminish and his body will be healthy that year.

(If one of the) warriors (sees) that he is ill, he will be wounded. If he sees that his wife is ill, her religion will diminish and her body will be healthy. If a sick person rolls about in grease, or sees that he is riding a pig, a camel or a bull, death is feared for him. A fever illness is worry from the ruler; a dry illness is spending money on what is not obedience (to God); a mixed illness is torment and negligence of the obligatory duties. A sick child who recovers from his illness will die.

(Whoever sees) all the people sick, with no one going about their needs, the town will be besieged.

(Whoever sees) that he is ill will overcome his enemies, live pleasantly, obtain great wealth, have a long life and attain joy. Whoever is in hardship and sees that he is ill will be saved. For people in general it indicates unemployment, and for the rich it indicates need, because every sick person is needy. If a traveler sees that he is ill and has a need or a desire, it will be hard to obtain, because doctors do not let the sick have what they crave. If a sick person sees that he freed a slave, he will die, because the dead own nothing.

(Whoever sees) that a person he knows is ill, illness will befall that person. If he sees that an unknown man is ill, the illness will come back upon the dreamer. Illness is spending money; illness is repentance, supplication and humble entreaty; illness is passionate love, and passionate love is also an illness.

(Whoever sees) that he is ill will be granted health.

(Whoever sees) that his two sons have fallen ill, his eyes will become inflamed.

(Whoever sees) that he is ill while he has a dispute with someone else, his opponent will defeat him.

(Whoever sees) that his father fell ill will suffer a pain in his head, because the head stands for the father.

(Whoever sees) that he is ill is full of falsehoods and corruption.

(Whoever sees) that he is ill, that his illness has lasted long and his sins have fallen away, will die and meet God Almighty in the best of states. It is also said: illness is worry that befalls him in proportion to his illness. And it is said: he fears something and hopes for something in that year.

(Whoever sees) that the ruler is ill will fall ill in his religion; otherwise he (the ruler) will die that year. A king's illness is a sign of the weakness of his resolve, or that his enemy will defeat him. A woman's illness is her separation from her husband, just as a man's illness is his withdrawal from his wife. The illness of scholars is weakness in religion. The illness of a schoolteacher is the scattering of his pupils and their dispersal from him. A child's illness is a sign of worry and misery for his parents. The illness of someone whose death one wishes for is relief. An animal's illness is a sign that benefit from whoever it represents, a servant, a child or a slave, becomes unattainable. Widespread illness among people is a sign of drought and stagnation of livelihoods, and it may indicate benefit for doctors and shroud-sellers. Whoever, in a dream, has an illness complained of to him, it indicates worry that will come to him from the complainer, unless the complainer is an enemy in waking life, in which case relief, happiness and joy come to the one complained to.
