In a dream it is interpreted as children [ʿaqib means both "heel" and "offspring"].
Whoever sees that he has no heel will leave no child behind.
Whoever sees that his heel broke or was cut off, his child will die; the left is for daughters and the right for sons. The heel indicates a person's outcome (ʿāqiba) in his religion and his worldly life, and it indicates what a person leaves behind him of wealth or children. A fine heel in a dream is a sign of good deeds and what a person will meet of them, while its blackness and change of condition are a sign of going astray and turning back from obedience to disobedience. Heels may signify punishment for one who does not complete his ablution and does not wash his limbs fully with water; he (peace be upon him) said: "Woe to the heels from the Fire."
Whoever sees the heel of his foot broken is striving in a work he will regret.
