Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Gutter (waterspout) ميزاب

In a dream it is a man who does favors at times.

Gutters signify the slave girls and servant boys who take care of the needs of the place. A gutter may signify relief [faraj], because its people are relieved by it when it drains the water away. A gutter may signify a messenger or a trustworthy person who does not betray those who trust him but delivers to each person his due. If blood flows from gutters, it signifies an enemy who will shed the blood of the people of that town. If clear water flows from them and people benefit from it, it signifies prosperity and security. If murky water flows from them, or it has a foul smell, it signifies diseases with sores, boils, smallpox and the like. If he sees the Gutter of Mercy [the golden waterspout of the Kaaba] in a congregational mosque, a house or a known place, its ruling is the ruling of the Well of Zamzam, as explained previously under "Well" in the letter Ba', especially if people benefit from the water that comes down from it.

Whoever sees that he is beneath the Gutter of Mercy, God will reach him with His mercy and he will obtain what he wants of what he hopes for, especially if good, pure water comes down from it. If murky water comes down on him, it is the opposite of that.
