Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Ghāshiya (saddle cover; overwhelming calamity)

In a dream it signifies leaving obedience and punishment, because of His saying, the Exalted:

“Then do they feel secure that there will not come to them an overwhelming [aspect] of the punishment of Allāh or that the Hour will not come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive?”

Quran 12:107 · Saheeh International

Whoever has a ghāshiya brought in to him in a dream and is of the people of kingship will become king, because it is among the things carried before kings in their great processions [the ghāshiya was an embroidered saddle cover borne before the sultan]. The ghāshiya is also wealth, a servant or a woman.
