Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Forelock (braid, lock of hair) ذؤابة

In a dream it is a blessed male child for one who is pregnant, and it is wealth for one who sees it on his head. A forelock is also a slave girl, and many locks are slave girls for the one who sees them. A woman's lock of hair, if it grows long, means a son of hers who will become a chief, and a fertile year. If she sees that her hair is thick, she will do something for which she becomes famous; if people see her [thus], it is a scandal for her. The blackness of her hair is the good state of her marriage and her standing with her husband. If a woman sees that her head remains uncovered, her husband is absent and will not return to her; if she has no husband, she will never marry. If she sees her hair shining and jet-black, it is her becoming independent through her husband's wealth.
