Fighting with lances (thrusting) طعان بالرمح

In a dream it signifies a calamity and repelling it with money and men; and it may signify attacking religion [wordplay: ta'n = thrusting / criticizing] and mocking good people.

Whoever sees that he thrusts at a person with his lance, his sword, his club or his stick, the one thrusting attacks the one thrust at with words, and he is the aggressor, and the aggressor will be humbled and forsaken. If he cut, he caused pain. If he pointed one of these weapons as if to thrust but did not thrust, he intends to speak words but does not speak them.

Whoever sees people thrusting at each other with weapons, plague and disease will descend on that place.

Whoever sees people fighting each other, high prices of food will come; and if they fight the ruler, their prices will become cheap.
