Divorce طلاق

For an unmarried person, divorce in a dream means parting from whatever state he is in, good or bad. For a married person, divorce means the loss of his livelihood, or his death — especially if he is sick. A triple (final) divorce means a definitive break with no return to what he had; a single divorce means a return to what he had, or reconciliation with his enemy.

(Whoever sees) that he has divorced his wife will become self-sufficient, as God Almighty says:

وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ ٱللَّهُ كُلًّا مِّن سَعَتِهِۦ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعًا حَكِيمًا

“But if they separate [by divorce], Allāh will enrich each [of them] from His abundance. And ever is Allāh Encompassing and Wise.”

Quran 4:130 · Saheeh International

If he sees that he divorced his wife with a revocable divorce, he will leave his trade and his work for some days, intending to return to it. If he divorced her with an irrevocable divorce, he will leave his trade with no intention of returning to it. If he divorced her according to the Sunnah, until three menstrual cycles had passed over her, he will leave the trade after having become free of need for it.

(Whoever sees) that he divorced his wife will part from a property or dominion he had; it is also said he will be removed from his authority. Divorce also signifies poverty, because a man's wife is his authority and his worldly life. Whoever has a sick wife and sees that he divorced her with a final divorce, she will die; likewise if he sells her or frees her (as one would a slave). If he divorces her with a revocable divorce, recovery is hoped for her.
