In a dream it is a tyrannical, feared ruler, or a burning fire; if it has one head or three, it is more severe. If a sick person sees the dragon, it indicates his death. If a woman gives birth to a dragon in a dream, she will bear a crippled child, because the dragon drags itself when it moves.
Whoever sees as if a dragon dragged him into water will be struck by a punishment from the ruler, or torment from God the Exalted, or from his chief. If he sees as if he turned into a dragon, his life will be long and he will obtain authority. If he eats dragon flesh, he will obtain wealth from the king. The dragon may indicate a long time, because of its length. If a person sees as if it is coming toward him without harm, or as if it is giving him something or speaking to him in a fluent tongue, it indicates much good that will come to him.
Whoever sees in his dream a dragon that changes and a man emerges from it, it indicates an army of jinn; and if he sees it change and a woman emerges from it, it indicates a female army of jinn. It is an enemy who hides his enmity, with many heads in the arts of baseness, evil and wickedness. If it has one head, three or four heads, up to seven heads, each of its heads is an affliction, an art and a kind of evil; and when it reaches seven heads, there is nothing like it in the completeness of its evil and enmity, and it cannot be withstood or overcome.
Whoever sees that he owns a dragon will triumph over a man without intelligence.
