Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Cloth beater (fuller) دقاق

The beater of cloth in a dream is a reformer for whoever the cloth points to. He is [also] the beater of gold and tin, and everyone who beats something for a good purpose. Seeing him signifies rest, and earning through mischief and disputes, or the spoiling of what one hoped would be set right. He may signify spending gold and silver money on people of mischief, disputes, lying and fabrication. Beaters and dealers in goods are people who have preferred their worldly life over their religion, if they took prices for them in dirhams or dinars. If they sold them and took no price for them, and there was nothing in their selling that corrupts their religion, they prefer their religion over their worldly life and are grateful to God. If they sold them and took their price in dinars or dirhams, they corrupt their religion and gain their provision through talk and dispute, and prefer health over livelihood and good. If they sold without seeing dirhams and dinars, then if they handed over [the goods] to the buyer, they are becoming ascetic toward their worldly life. If they bought wheat and barley and paid its price without seeing dirhams or dinars, they are in wealth and tranquility in their livelihood, and in gratitude and praise to God the Exalted.
